Dorothy Pinney

Dorothy has been a stylist for over 22 years. Education and training has been of highest priority. She has taken numerous classes at Bumble and Bumble University, R and Co and Vidal Sassoon. With each class, she has added skills to her set striving to become a great stylist. Dorothy is also a graduate of Georgia State. She has always wanted to combine her business degree and her stylist education by owning a salon.

In early 2014 the opportunity arose for Dorothy to open the salon in the beautiful Inman Park. She opens the doors each day to love the place she works and share the space with her fellow stylists. Her goal is to make every client to feel comfortable and well cared for.

Dorothy specializes in creating natural hair color and cuts that last between visits.

Outside of the salon Dorothy spends her time in Colorado with her husband Jacob, three dogs Sampson, Ernie, Henry and cat Pip, hiking as much as possible, renovating their home, practicing yoga and enjoying time outside.

Cece Costello

Having a great haircut or fantastic hair color can do so much for a person’s self-esteem. Cece Costello helps her clients achieve their best look, every day in the salon.

Starting out as a hairstylist with Aveda thirteen years ago, Cece learned the importance of connecting with her clients and listening to their needs. Cece specializes in the art of balayage highlighting and French haircutting for men and women. She has also been trained in several hair extension methods; including Great Lengths extensions and has been making women’s hair longer and/or thicker for eight years.

For inspiration, Cece often frequents art openings to check out the new and dynamic art occurring in the city. She loves to travel and learn about different cultures. So far, her favorite place that she’s visited is Kyoto, Japan.

Cece Costello has a passion for hairstyling. She loves creating great hair and making happy clients!

Freddie Flores

Freddie Flores has been doing hair for 16 years. “I’m a neighborhood kind of guy.” He specializes in French hair cutting and Balayage. Freddie definitely has more of a natural, organic, yet chic style to his work. “I like my own hair to look good with minimal effort at all times, and I try to provide that to my guests.”

Freddie works and lives in the area. He has 2 dogs that you might see around town barking at attractive men. Freddie moved to Atlanta in ’98 and started his education at an amazing salon in Buckhead. He decided to move his business to his neighborhood a few years ago. “I wanted to bring my craft closer to home. I knew Smith Ivey was home the moment I stepped into those doors.”

Corey Brown

Cut and color

Corey has been in the hair industry since 2004 and has always had an appreciation for style and art. He was drawn to hair through music and fashion when he was in high school and continues to be inspired by those mediums. He also holds a strong regard for continuing education and always sharpening his craft. Specializing in cut and color, Corey has a wide range of abilities from tight fades and punky colors to natural highlights and bold balayage.

Tiffany Nichole Thomas

At the age of 16, Tiffany entered the industry as an assistant and has been in salons ever since. She spent years training and apprenticing while she went to business school at Georgia State University. As a full-time stylist, she could not be happier! “I love seeing my clients feel better when they walk out the door than when they walked in. Whether it’s because they love their hair or they were able to relax and focus on themselves for a minute, the happiness they leave with is the reason I do what I do. I love that I have a job where I can make people feel good and feel empowered all day long.” She offers cut and color services, and she specializes in blonde.

When she's not in the salon, Tiffany loves to spend time with her friends and family, hiking and planting, crafting, snuggling her cats, and taking education classes to bring back new skills to her clients!

Steffi Waddell Manget

Steffi entered into the hair industry back in 2014 wanting to bring aspects of her prior career of social work to the beauty industry. "I love getting the opportunity to work with clients and truly get to know them! It makes my job so easy when you
get to bring out each guest's natural beauty."
Steffi is constantly striving to learn and grow in all ways of life - including travelling whenever possible, and jumping on opportunities for continued education. Steffi specializes in natural looks, and infuses her work with reiki whenever possible. She believes that the beauty industry is more than skin deep, and when we take care of ourselves we can show up better for others, as well.
